What the scan actually does
Most skincare advice is guesswork dressed up as expertise. Someone looks at your face, makes a judgement, and sells you a product.
The Visage Pro scan removes the guessing. It photographs your skin under several types of light — including wavelengths that see beneath the surface — and measures what’s genuinely happening: hydration levels, pigment sitting below the skin, sun damage you can’t yet see, congestion, texture, redness, and the early signs of ageing that haven’t surfaced yet.
You’ll see all of it on screen, and we’ll go through it together. Not a report emailed later. Not a number on a chart. Your actual skin, explained, while you’re sat there.
01
The scan
A full-face capture, beyond what the eye can see.
02
The walkthrough
We look at the findings together, on screen, and I explain what each one means for your skin.
03
Your benchmark
The scan becomes your baseline, so progress is measured rather than guessed at.
04
Your goals
What you actually want from your skin — defined together, in plain terms.
05
Your plan
Clear next steps, priced and tailored. Yours to take away, whether or not you book anything.

When you arrive
A quieter kind of clinic
The Barn is an oak-framed room in the Hampshire countryside. Timber, daylight and birdsong, rather than strip lights and a waiting room. You park outside and walk straight in — there’s no reception desk, no queue, and no one else booked in at the same time as you.
Appointments are unhurried by design. One person at a time, which means the room is yours for as long as your appointment runs.
You will not be sold to. You’ll leave with a written plan and a clear idea of what it costs, and what you do next is entirely up to you. Some people book their first treatment on the day. Some go away and think. Some do the scan, take the plan and use it elsewhere — that’s fine too.
Why there's a fee &
and why you get it back
A free consultation isn’t free. It’s paid for in the pressure to book something at the end of it.
The £50 buys forty-five minutes of clinical time and a genuine assessment, and it’s credited in full against whatever plan you decide to start. Book a treatment and the scan has effectively cost you nothing. Decide the timing isn’t right and you’ve still had a proper professional read of your skin, and a plan you can act on whenever you’re ready.
It also means the people who book are the people who actually want to understand their skin. Which is why appointments are unhurried — there aren’t many of them.

The practitioner
Who you'll be seeing
Every appointment at the Barn is with Lucinda — owner, founder, and the only practitioner here.
Her background is clinical rather than cosmetic. She spent over fifteen years in the NHS, latterly as a Midwifery Sister leading a busy birth centre in the South of England. That level of clinical care and responsibility is rarely seen in the aesthetics industry, and it underpins every appointment here.
She opened The Wellbeing Barn to work the way she believes skin should be treated: one person at a time, in a private oak-framed room in the Hampshire countryside, away from the busy high street. Treatments use clinical-grade Mesoestetic and SkinMed protocols, chosen for your skin rather than applied to everyone the same way.
What people say afterwards
“Lucinda has been a life saver. I’ve struggled with acne for over a decade but after seeing her on a monthly basis for facials, having her constant support over text, I now get compliments on my clear glowing skin and rarely get a breakout. Best decision I’ve made and money I’ve ever spent.”
Lisa
“First facial treatment today and Lucinda was amazing. She was kind, welcoming and explained everything she was doing. It was a very different experience for me as I’ve never had anything like it before but it was relaxing and I left feeling amazing. Thanks Lucinda xx”

Questions
Before you book
How long does the appointment take?
45 minutes, and it won’t be rushed. There’s only ever one appointment booked at a time.
Does the scan hurt?
Not at all. It’s a series of photographs — nothing touches your skin, and nothing is applied to it.
Do I need to take my make-up off?
Yes, and there’s somewhere to do it when you arrive. Come as you are — the scan reads the skin underneath either way.
Will I be pressured into booking treatments?
No. You’ll get a written plan and clear pricing, and what you do with it is your decision. There’s no follow-up sales call.
Is the £50 really credited back?
Yes — in full, against any treatment plan you start. It isn’t a discount off the first treatment; it comes off the plan.
Where exactly are you?
Near Stockbridge, Hampshire — a private, oak-framed clinic just outside the village, away from the busy high street. Free parking directly outside. Full directions come with your booking confirmation.
What if I’ve never had a facial before?
That’s the most common reason people book this. The scan is designed as a starting point, not a follow-up to something else.
